The Galaxy Tower: a building with 250 guest rooms, two restaurants, three meeting rooms, a swimming pool, wellness facilities and 317 apartments with various green courtyard gardens, roof terraces and 150 parking spaces. Peak Development is managing the entire development process as regards the construction, handover and sale of the apartments.
The Galaxy Tower is an important link in the transformation of the Beurskwartier into a dynamic residential and business district. With the Central Station close by, this district has the potential to grow into the new centre of Utrecht.

Residential and hotel
The Amrâth Galaxy Jaarbeurs Hotel will be a luxury four-star hotel offering full service. Perfect for visitors to the Jaarbeurs and in keeping with a stylish city such as Utrecht. Above the hotel there will be 317 apartments for rent in the private sector; from small studios to penthouses. Because of the combination of these two functions – residential and hotel – an insulating layer between the hotel and the residential floors is required.
Sustainability factor
The Galaxy Tower has a high sustainability factor with a limited energy demand. The design also includes solar panels on the roofs and façades as well as heat and cold storage in the ground.
